wpmu ldap plugin (3 posts)

I have wpmu-ldap_2.9 setup and working but I find that one the options isn't working correctly. There is an LDAP option at the bottom of the Edit User page where you can switch from local to ldap but it doesn't appear to actually switch the authentication source. Users can login with either there local or ldap regardless of the setting. Our ldap has a three attempt lockout feature and we fear if it's going against ldap when there setup just for local it will lock their ldap account.

Is anyone else experiencing this or have a solution to make sure it doesn't attempt to go against ldap when set to local.

    Thanks.

This is indeed a bug. However, as currently coded it should not hit the LDAP server unless the user types their local password incorrectly.

    I've entered the bug here:

This should now be fixed in the svn trunk for 3.0
