Convert from subdomains to subdirectories script (9 posts)

    Hi,
I was recently reading this post: http://welcome.totheinter.net/2009/05/06/changing-wordpress-mu-from-subdomains-to-subdirectories/

In it, one user (Andrea_R) commented, "There *IS* a script available for this, but it is unreleased. It will be out there soon-ish though." Of course, "this" was the reconfiguration of a WPMU site so that it used subdirectories instead of subdomains. This comment was made over a year ago. So, my question:

Where can I find said script?

    Thanks,
    Brian

It's still unreleased. :D It's quite a power tools, and really it's just so you don't have to go manually changing the urls of all the sub-blogs.

If you don't care about changing the blogs themselves, then you don't need the script.

Does "unreleased" mean that its buried in the SVN repo, or that its hidden from all view?

PS -- Thanks for replying :). Its nice to see that the person who originally made the comment was able to follow-up.

Um, unreleased generally means not available to the public on the internet anywhere. :D

It's on the list tho. I need a 36 hour day.

I assume that by "list," you mean the mailing list archive? (Sorry, I'm new to the forum -- this is my first thread) If so -- do you have a link to an archive? I've searched, but was unable to find anything. Perhaps my Google-Fu is off today?

No, by "on the list" I mean my own internal development list for things Ron & I release.

You know, as not a part of the mu project. Maybe this is part of the confusion. The script you're talking about is NOT officially part of development. It's independent of anything else.

While I am a mod here, and Ron is a core dev, we occasionally work on plugins and things we release to the community - sometimes free, sometimes paid - that aren't tied to any official WordPress development or business.

This is the official wordpressmu site. Anything not here is 3rd party.
