Wordpress MU is no longer being developed. It is now part of wordpress 3.0. It functions almost exaclty the same.

If you have 3.0, read this:

Then you will have the "new" mu.

i'm login to my mu now and see this message:
WordPress MU 3.0 is available! Please update.
but in mu.wordpress.org latest version is 2.9.2.
when com wp 3 safe ?

You need to check with them and I;m not sure if you mean the plugin plugins from wpmudev or the premium site but...
