WordPress MU

Do you guys think that procedure would be the same as the one bellow?

I'd go to 2.9 to be safe first.

Please dont upgrade if your not at 2.9

lets say you have 2.8..

Then first load 2.1

The load 2.9

Then load 2.9.2

The make sure you have this in your wp-config file
define('FS_METHOD', 'direct');

NB NB NB Then upgrade all plugins then deactivate all plugins

Now your almost ready firs log in to cpanel and do a back up of every thing

Now just log in and click upgrade 3 and it should work .

The main thin is if your not at WP Mu 2.9.2 your upgrade will not work and your site will be broken .

Take my word we have about 50 mu sites running on our server .
