hello,,, I just installed WP 3.0 yesterday and got access to my super admin panel. When I make a blog through the back-end,, it directs my URL to (example) http://your-site.com/test instead of http://wordoffaithrecovery.com/test.

    Can anyone suggest anything?

    THANKS
    damon

This info might help as I find it strange.

Under sites in superadmin where I manually add blogs,, in the field to add the new blog name,, it has "http://your-site.com" in the field hardened(meaning i cannot change it) and then it has an open changable filed for me to add the new blog name.

And when I visit the new blog,, it takes me to http://your-site.com/BLOGNAME as noted above.

    THANKS
    damon

what plugins are you running? Any reference to yoursite.com is not built in.

I saw the page into another domain previously. You don't have one of these sites installed as a addon or parked domain in your hosting account, do you? WPMu really should be installed by itself, or, if you have to, as the root of the hosting account in question. I gather that's probably going to hold true for 3.0 as well.

edit: Or is the actual domain coming up really "your-site.com" Really wish folks wouldn't use fake domains when asking for help. This is a perfect reason why.

    Hello Andrea and tdjcbe,

I am running 0 plugins. I have a new account at hostagator and wordoffaithrecovery.net is the primary domain on the account, it is not an add on domain. It is the only WP (or any kind of) install on the account.

yes,, I am really getting defaulted to your-site.com,, even though I have no domains parked there. Here is a blog I made through the site page in superadmin (http://your-site.com/testsite5) As you can see it is not giving me a real address. And funny thing also is that when I am on the main blog and try to go to a page I have made,,,it takes me to http://your-site.com/ even though it shows http://wordoffaithrecovery.net/new-test-page/ at the bottom of my browser.

    Any suggestions would be great.
    THANKS YA"LL
