You're going to have to explain with a lot more detail and tell us what's happening. You don;t give us anything to go on. Are they receiving an error? Is it an educational issue with your client? Are they getting weird results in their avatars? Are they trying to upload huge image files? Are they uploading porn pictures that are offending others?

And, you know, since avatars aren't built in, what plugin are you using for it?
