Hi, I am new to wordpress and think that v3.0 might be right for a project but want to ask if with a single MU installation I can:

    - Setup 3 separate sites (blogs), each with their own templates/styling
    - Allocate a unique domain name to each
    - Administer each site from one login/backend

    Many Thanks

    Guy

Yes, you;ll have to install one of the domain mapping plugins but that's what wpmu is built to do.

    Yes, that's the point. ;)

    Yep. with a plugin.

Yes and no. You can have one login, but for things like posting you have to visit the backend of each site. they are siloed, and work the same as if you had 3 blogs over on wordpress.com.
