WordPress MU

Hi - I've seen references to making variations of themes for WPMU in the forum, but am not sure how it works for WP 3.0.

I have a single theme that for different subdomains I want to change things like the background and text color. What is the best way to do this?

Works the same way.

If you just want css changes, use a plugin:

also, in 3.0 a custom background option is built-in. See the twentyten theme and look in the functions.php file. that code can go in any theme now.

Theme options pages are blog-specific, so they don't change the theme itself and will allow for differences from one site to the other.
