Did you enable the themes for the users? Go to Site Admin -> Themes and make sure the radio buttons are clicked to "yes".
Perfect! Thanks VERRY much! :)
What's the cause of those errors? I remember seeing something similiar on my install.
There's a few threads about it. Those themes are based on really, really old themes and the newer MU doesn't like something or other in the stylesheet.
Funnily enough though, I never got those errors, and I'm the one who sent them in.
thx. have commented on http://wpmudevorg.wordpress.com/project/Theme-Pack/ (no permalinks available there)
"it would be nice if only the admin sees the error messages."
The admin is the only one who would see the message. If MU can't find the theme or has problems with it, admin can't enable it and users never see it. Also, Andrew stated earlier in that comment thread he will update the theme pack when he has time. Hell, I'd do it, but Andrew posted it at WPMU and I can't edit his stuff.
All that needs to be done to those themes is to take out the line at the top of the css file that says "Template: "
It's worth it to note that at this point, you can toss almost any regular WP theme into your install and it should work (providing the theme works anyway).
http://themes.wordpress.net should keep you busy for ages.
The theme pack was only intended for people who wanted a bunch of themes fast that didn't need tweaking, were verified as working under MU, and were widget ready. More and more widget-ready themes are being released, so the need for a theme pack has lessened.
The admin is the only one who would see the message
If you have the ability to see the Dashboard -> Presenation page, then you see the error list. That error list really needs to be on Dashboard -> Site Admin -> Themes.
