    What do you set your config file permissions to? I usually set it to 600 but lately I'm getting permissions errors with that. I've never had a problem doing it before.

    See who 'owns' the config file. If you're getting permission errors, my guess is the file is assigned to your own account on the box instead of the webserver. If so, you're either going to have to get ownership changed (Contact your webhost) to switch it over to 600 or just leave it as 644.
