So to make a keymaster work my install, I have to reinstall bbpress with that line in the config file?

If you've integrated, but your WP admin isn't recognized by bbpress, or doesn't have admin capability, yes.

It doesn't actually reinstall bbpress, it just swaps up who the key master is.

Could anyone help, I've used the config posted by suleiman and all seemed fine. But it isn't.

    It's a cookie/login issue.

When I log in via either bbpress or wordpress, my cookie works for subfolders (ie domain.com/wp-admin/ or domain.com/blog/uncategorized/hello-world/ or domain.com/forums/) but doesn't work at root level, ie just http://domain.com where it acts as though I am logged out.

I use subdomains for blogs, my root directory is where wordpressmu is sat, and the bbpress install is at /forums/.

I can't figure this out. Apart from this cookie/login issue it's all worked perfectly, but being "logged out" or not cookied at root leve isn't good.

    Any suggestions please? Thanks.

Just to add, I created a test blog, which is http://test.domain.com/ and my logged in/out status is also reflected there.

So it is purely the front page/root level my logged in status doesn't appear to stick.

OK, it's different than that. The default theme with /home.php isn't showing logged in. But if I use another theme (even the default without "home.php", it shows as logged in.

Guess I need to look at that file.
