I have read as much about this forum as I have been able to, and I have been wondering about my host co. and WP-Mu. Could you tell about some host reputation? wht about "Get a cheap domain" Are they just like GoDaddy?

Now I'm not a moderator, but I guess one of their virtual dedicated servers would be fine. I wouldn't count on hosting WPMU on a webhotel account somewhere if I were you, having root access is (almost) a must.
compared to all the low-cost hosts i know (and i know a lot)... hostgator.com is the most efficient and responsive server possible at low cost. you can be hosted on a PHP 5(latest) server by demand, what most other hosts does not offer even at high costs...
and i'm not a reseller - just a web-architect!
whereever you look - ask about the wildcard subdomains *before* you buy.
A Small Orange has been great for me to tell you the truth, and they usually fix stuff in a day.
Is that true? http://www.lfchosting.com claims unlimited wild card subdomain. Does any one host with them?
