Did you setup the right pop access info's in the main user's blog (admin)...?

Site Admin -> Blogs -> edit your admin's blog

You'll find a list of options, included the email. It worked for me...

I am having a similar problem, just not being able to get the email to start everything. It works fine on wordpress, but not on wordpress mu. I have checked other help threads but nothign has helped. Anyone have any ideas?

What's the Ip address and have you checked your mail logs for the server?

I want to know if there is a way to send the mails using the smtp mail server?

A quick search shows a number of threads and solutions on getting a smtp server hooked up to WPMU.
