    Hi guys and gals,

I'm new to WPMU and so far I'm loving it, but still figuring everything out.

I'd like to create an Archive Index, i.e. a page following my archives.php file. I tried following the instructions in the WordPress Codex (http://codex.wordpress.org/Creating_an_Archive_Index) and searching for answers in this forum but couldn't find out how to do what I want.

Also, unlike regular WordPress, the custom fields box in the Write Page tab for WPMU doesn't seem to have an archive template listed.

    Any suggestions?

Actually, it is the exact same as in WP. If it's not listing the archive temple of your theme, then you're missing something in archives.php.

Go over the codex instructions again, and search the regular WP forums as I know they've covered it plenty.

Oh, I see why. The theme I'm using doesn't have any extra templates. I switched to a different theme with archives.php and links.php files and I found the Page Template option.

Told you I was a newbie. Thanks for the help though.
