WordPress MU

Hi,

I have two copies of MU running on my server. One I installed a month ago is fine - subdomains work fine - ie. test.mydomain.com.

However on a new install they do not.

The software and .htaccess etc., are the same (different database) - but it fails to work :( test.mydomain2.com gives a 404.

I have enabled wildcard in the dns.

I can't seem to find any difference - although somewhere on the server I must have made a change - maybe a different file. (vhost.conf also is the same)

There was a useful post here that several people have mentioned - but sadly I can't find it. I followed this on the first one and it is working fine. Does anyone know the one I mean?

You're absolutely sure the changes were made to httpd.conf, and apache was restarted?
