MU blogs with domains and WHM (3 posts)

I run a VPS server that uses WHM for most of the account controls. Is it possible to use MU to set up each blog on its own account within WHM, with a domain? I use WP primarily as a CMS, and I would like to keep all my clients' WPs in the WHM account hierarchy if possible, using WHM's quotas, email address setups, etc. I don't even really want it to be automated, I just want WHM to keep as much control as possible.

Sorry if this is a newbie question, I'm just not quite following the flow of how MU interacts with the server.

Has anyone been able to do this?

I would also like a way to create a new hosting account via WHM, and have it work as a blog as part of a wordpress mu installation.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

Afraid not. You would have to have those files setup within each subdomain with CPanel for that to work. Kind of defeats the purpose of WPMu actually.

Best bet is just to create the accounts with WHM and make sure you keep (Oh, i forget the name of that autoinstaller) up to date and just have your clients making sure they keep up to date.
