I have WordpressMU 1.o installed in a subdirectory on our intranet. (http://community.somewhere.com/blogs). Set up has been fine, I'm receiving emails, users can create sub-directory blogs, activation is working...

If I allow blog registration by setting "Users Can Register" to 1. The registrant clicks the register button on the homepage of a blog called 'wpsupport' which generates this link - http://community.somewhere.com/blogs/wpsupport/wp-login.php?action=register

The login panel appears prompting for username and password. (Is this correct, what if I have no account and need to create one, or am I thinking about this all wrong...).

If I click the 'Register' link on the login panel it generates this link - http://community.somewhere.com/blogs/wpsupport/signup/ which gives me a 404 error.

Any ideas on how to fix the 404?
Should completely new users be able to register for a blog?

    hope you can help...

This was fixed for me by adding the NoCaps.php plugin from here

    Ignore my previous message.

NoCaps.php works fine for the home blog. But I'm stil getting a 404 from my sub-blogs.
