WordPress MU

I have actually 3 domains mapped to my main domain. Main domain is trentadams.ca and the mapped domains are trentadams.com and onvertigo.com

If someone goes to trentadams.com or onvertigo.com they are automatically redirected to trentadams.ca, but not the main page. Instead they are redirected to:

http://trentadams.ca/wp-signup.php?new=

If someone goes to a blog that is created at http://trentadams.ca/grad97/ they can see the site fine.

If someone goes to http://trentadams.com/grad97/ they are redirected to:

http://trentadams.ca/wp-signup.php?new=grad97

Even though that already exists. It can't figure out that it already exists, even though it redirects to the correct domain.

Any ideas on how I can stop this behavior?

Would it be safe to say that the settings can't be changed to have more than one domain name? It would be great if it would resolve existing sites.

I had the same issues and had to set up a completely different account on the server for my MU install.

Thanks for the reply andrea. I am not quite sure what you mean about the same issues though, so could you explain? I had the system setup under onvertigo.com (own account on domain), but then moved it over to trentadams.ca and mapped the domain onvertigo.com to trentadams.ca. trentadams.com was already mapped to trentadams.ca

The system is working great as long as you stay in the confines of trentadams.ca and use it as such. The mapped domains are the ones that are playing with my mind! They are the ones that redirect back to trentadams.ca with the undesired results! Not that it is a really big deal because it is promoted to my friends and family as trentadams.ca now anyway!

Just thought it might be cool to have the mapped domains redirect to trentadams.ca correctly.

Either way, I am happy with MU and will continue to use it for my friends and family! Just wish the invite system would move out of 'skeleton' mode as that would make life easier for me! LOL
