WordPress MU

I just noticed on my server there are files for

smarty-cache
smarty-templates_c

Both are empty.

I used the latest unstable zip from the download page, but there are no files anywhere in it for smarty. Neither does the tar.gz which I downloaded to check out.

Isn't it supposed to be there?

I also had a friend test out blog creation and she got an account, but there is no blog. Subdomains are now working, but I don't see how it would be connected to the sub?? I want this for my staff at my site, but creating new blogs isn't working.

I'm at my wits end trying to figure this out and I really need some help.

The templating system is not base on smarty anymore. The templating is like the regular Wordpress now.

Subdomain will require you to have vhost and DNS Wildcard enable.

Actually, I don't want it to make it as a sub, though I'm glad the subs are resolving as they should now.

Vhost is enabled but not the wildcard thing, as I've never done that before.
