How can I import my blog site to another host (server) if I can't access the database file.
The person hosting my blog is not available, he has vanished.
All I have is the username and password to post articles.

yep, can you tell me how I can move my blog off its exsisting server.
I can not get a hold of the guy that has the password for the database.
    He has vanished.
I own the blog and the website attached to it, I did something against my better judgement and went off shore.

    ic.

So you're the MU site admin, and the person with the server which your entire MU site (and all registered sites) runs off of has vanished.

Posts you can export as rss, or use the export tool in the admin area of each blog.

But, other than that, unless you have FTP then you could upload the database export/backup plugin, you're stuck.

well if you can install plugins (have the installer plugin installed), i.e. you could install wp-phpmyadmin and do an export of your entire DB - you won't need the password as this plugin reads it out of your wpmu configuration.
