Hi, I'm am offering $200 for a script to convert the columns at http://www.andrewtobias.com/columns.html into a Wordpress database. If the script is run repeatedly, it should only import those columns that have not been already imported previously.
Please contact me at http://www.mflinks.com/contact .
Thank you.

Marc you should save yourself some money, set aside an hour or two and just copy and paste them in.
Thanks for your response :-)
Hmmm, those are more than 2000 columns. Assuming, cutting and pasting would take me 30 seconds per column, that would be 1000 minutes of cutting and pasting... I guess I could hire someone to do it.
However, another reason I'd like the script is so I can update the WordPress db with new columns occasionally just by running the script.
Are there other places where I may want to post this?

Ah i don't think the page displayed properly the last time :) Yes that would be a chore :)
Mind you for $200 i bet someone would be interested in manually doing it for you.

I would manually import them for $200. I have free time and wouldn't mind. If you want to hire me, contact me @ frozonecold {at] GmAiL dot} com.
Thank you for the offer to do it manually. But I really need a script so that I can use it everytime when I want to update the database after new columns are posted.
Is it difficult to write a script that would scrape the content, parse it, and populate a Wordpress mysql database with it?
It could be done with a custom import script. The good news is that it should only take 2-3 hours to code. The bad news is that there is only a handful of people around here with the knowledge to code it and most of them are extremely busy.

rent a coder and then agree a price and then let them up it by about 3 times dot com.
Well that was my experience anyways :) On about 5 projects. I gave up in the end and employed an in house coder.
I found someone to write the script. Thank you everyone.
Best,
Marc.
