Greetings,
On individual blog level. Upon clicking on the category, or archive the complete content of the post shows up. How can I make it so that it shows only the title and summary (perhaps 100 characters) of the post. The reader is then brought to specific post only when he/she clicks on the title or "read more" link.
Thank you for your suggestions!
I use a plugin called evermore for this, it makes all posts show up only to a length of characters that you can manually specify,... but targets all posts in a blog.
Thank you! Will test it out!
I just activated this code. It works but it also forced my sidebar to the bottom center of the page. Any ideas how to correct this?

Which wp core file I can hack? instead of install plugin or modify every theme templates.
Its better if archives and search results show in title only.
that's handled by the theme templates.

but some themes not include archive.php & search.php files. thats why I looking for the wp core files which are relevant and dependency.
for eg: "Bluebird" - Randa Clay Design
