I am trying to decide between WPMU and Movable Type Enterprise so I have set up a wiki page with a feature matrix, will need some help filling it all in so I can make a decision. Parts of what I have done may be wrong, so feel free to correct it.

MT is if you want a few blogs. WPMU is if you want to start a blog farm.

Whem WPMU is first installed, it automatically creates one blog - the admin's, or the main blog on the system. If a user is already on the system, they can be added to another blog, very very easily.

If you coudl tell me what you're using it for, I can tell you if WPMU would be best or not. (even though I am not a fan of MT).

Uh, also if you plan on using MT to host a large number of blog or authors, they you'll have to PAY THEM (licensing fees) as well as pay for webhosting.

Also not every MT plugin is preinstalled for you. There are many that you can add in. Just like WPMu and regular WP.

Migration in WP is a matter of exporting out a *.xml file and importing it to a new site. Both regular WP in version 2.1 and WPMu have this and there's a supported plugin for regular WP for version 2.0.

I wouldn't trust Yahoo hosting as far as I could spit a rat. (I heard that this morning. I like it.) Their small business division is know for yellow contracts and suporting email spammers and there are hundreds of threads in the wp.org forums moaning about how bad their support is. They pay out a lot of you're an affliate for them which is why you see folks hawking them a lot.

    Hope this helps,

And you are not bound to use yahoo to host MT anyway.
