Using the 9-16-05 build. Logging in as admin and changing the password of a user changed me to the user. Then got lack of permission errors, etc.

Thanks, got that fixed now. It was a WordPress problem, and I've submitted a bug report to have it fixed there too!

What do existing mu blog owners need to do to fix this bug on their installs of MU? Upgrade? Or is there a file that needs to be changed?

Here's the ticket I posted against that problem in Trac:
http://trac.wordpress.org/ticket/1689Unfortunately if you haven't got an up to date install I think that code was somewhere else but searching will find it. This mightn't even be an issue in older installs because there was a HUGE check-in of user-edit related code a few days ago.

My latest install came from the download page on this site on the 18th. Is that the latest?
Looks like I'll have to wait to see what you hear from the ticket. Though I don't see this issue as something I would need to do just yet, it may be necessary in the future.
