    It's working well for me - judging by lack of complaints - not that we've got teh override in place. I'll definitely be back here if we have any problems but :D

    Don't ask me why this worked but I uninstalled SK2 updated the widget plugin http://mu.wordpress.org/forums/topic.php?id=3655&replies=6#post-23081 and then reinstalled the SK2 plugin and now both the widget plugin and the SK2 plugin works. I don't know how or why and really I don't care...just happy to have it all working.

    Did you click on Options > SK@ at any time... that's what seems to need to happen.

    A couple of things to think about. My WordpressMU is for teachers and they do a lot of commenting on student blogs. We keep running into the issue that the system allows them to comment a couple of times and then thinks their spam. In the SK2 options under SnowBall Effect I had to make some adjustments. They seem to have worked for awhile but now teachers are being called spam again, even when they are logged in. I've set the User-Level to as low as it will go and even turned it to 'weak' but that doesn't seem to have an effect. I'll keep playing with setting, but there is something in here that is making comments spam. For example this comment was marked spam.

    0: Encrypted payload valid: IP matching.
    0.5: Valid Javascript payload (can be fake).
    2.28: 1 whitelist match. (13 = saschinaonline.org [x1])
    0.5: Comment has no URL in content (but one author URL)
    -33.28: Manually spanked spam.

    Does anyone see something here that I can change?

    Open up that particular filter, and then make a check inside it, so it only runs if a user isn't logged in.

    Either that, or make the rewards for frequent commenting more.

    SK2 is doing just fine there - the problem is that a setting you have is manually putting it into the spam queue - I'd guess at requiring moderation before the comment is posted.

    Down the line I'm going to have a crack at tweaking the presentation of comments in SK2 as for the vast majority of users Karma means nothing and 'moderate' could mean anything.

    I've been following this thread for a bit now and I must say I'm thoroughly confused.

    So I hate to be the foriegner in the middle of Piccadilly Circus, but was everyone experiencing the commenting errors after using the latest SK2 and 1.1.1?

    Because I'm running both over here and it's working just fine as far as I can tell. I ran a few test comments and it seems to be posting no worries.

    Me = Perplexed.
