Can anyone help with this problem? I'm using 1.1.1 version of WordPress MU and even tried to overwrite all files with a newly downloaded version.

Which theme are you trying to use here? You'll note that two themes are being called. WordPress is setup to fall back to the default theme if it can't find a file out of the used theme, in this case the home theme.

I'm not sure what happened. Aside from looking through codes which I have no knowledge of, I went ahead and exported blogs, reinstalled wpmu and then did an import. Thank you for your reply.
