so install mu on root folder
example:
if you use cpanel;
do it in puplic_html/
if you use plesk;
do it in httpdocs/
A third post on this? C'mon now, you've posted the exact same thing 3 times now in different threads. That isn't exactly "forum" friendly, there.
You have to install it on domain.com, not a subdomain.
thats the basic thing. i want to install WPMU on sib-domain
Then you're going to get user.sub.domain.tld, and that's it.
Unless you've got quite good php skills, and and hack around it in mu to accomplish it.
what is 'user.sub.domain.tld' and where can i find this.
You're kidding, right?
If you install MU on a subdomain, let's say it is SUB.DOMAIN.TLD for example, and you choose to use subdomains for the usernames, you will end up with USERNAME.SUB.DOMAIN.TLD, not USERNAME.DOMAIN.TLD, unless you are quite handy with php and can hack up the core files to circumvent it..
