Hello, I'm running wpmu 1.1.1
The base is a dns redirection from http://www.enseignons.be/services/blog to http://blog.enseignons.be

and blogs use the urls : http://blog.enseignons.be/nameoftheblog

but queries and everything is very very slow .. How can you explain this ??

You just did. You're doing a redirect in a system already doing a redirect doing a redirect on top of the redirect that Apache is already doing.

My eyeballs are turning every which way 8-I

What's the solution then if I want to have blogs with that url :
http://blog.enseignons.be/blogname

Install WPMU in the root directory of blog.enseignons.be, should be public_html/blog and choose "Subdirectories" when installing.

Yes, but is there a big difference between /services/blog and /blog ??? I would still have to declare this in the apache config, wouldn't I ?

Why is it there anyway, couldn't you set up a subdomain and house it all in there?

I've set up a subdomain, and this subdomain point to this folder. Will it really do something to move up the folder to the root ?
