Hi,
I have an installation of WPMU running (where do I find the version number, can't remember which version it is?). I have just noticed that "Optional Excerpt" isn't working. The text in there doesn't appear in the post - the body of the post itself is published.
I'm using the LDAP plugin and the Sticky plugin.
Any ideas where I might fix this?

well, in your backend, have a look at any pages footer :-) thats where you'll see th version number...
as to the excerpt not being shown, does your post template call the_excerpt? I guess it just calls the_content :-) so you need to adapt your templates where you want the excerpt shown...
just some wild guesses but they might help.

Hi,
Well, it's version 1.0 then :)
The post_template.php file is identical to a normal single user WP installation where the excerpt function is working OK.
So I'm still stumped.

go get the perishable press multi-loop theme apathy 2.7. it comes with a most excellent excerpt plugin/function. i plan to use it exclusively.
