    Hi!

After upgrading to 1.2.1 version (from 1.1) the post editor (tinymce) stop working :(

If I try to write a new post in any blog of my WPMU I get this:

In Firefox: I dont see anything that I write, but if I publish I see that the text was typed...

In Explorer 7: I can see what I write, but if I save the draft and reopen later I can see nothing (but the text is in the post when publish).

    Any ideas??

I tried to replace tinymce and post-new.php with the previuos version but the error is still there... after disabling plugins the error persist too :(

    Please somebody can help me??

    Thanks.

Have you tried clearing your browser's cache and doing a forced reload of the page that you're looking at? I know that there was a TinyMCE upgrade in there so that may be what you're hitting.

    Yes. I did it.

And try to post using Opera too (I neve used this brower so this way I'm sure of no cache here).

I ask to some users of my WPMU to try posting and have the same issue :(

The only way to post now is to switch off the visual editor in the user profile.

Because I cant type even selecting the code editor tab in the visual editor...

Had this problem, ended up being (atleast for me) about the language files. TinyMCE works fine when using english but fails with javascript errors if using any other language. Here's a fix:

I had this issue too, couldn't write with Opera or Firefox. I ended up disabling TinyMCE by renaming the directory it is in.
The problems may have something to do with all icons (at least bold and italics) not loading properly in Opera and Firefox

I had the issue with TinyMCE as well.

You just have to put in language pack for TinyMCE for your locale.

I have tried that too now. Did not work, and as it seems many users have problem at the Wordpress.org forum.

Where can I get the spanish language pack for TinyMCE?

How did you solved the problem? I have similar problem but have not found a solution yet. It looks like it's related with switching languages.

What is the correct format for locale language file? I am using mn_MN.po for wpmu, and if I use mn.js for tinymce lang files, will it recognize them? Please help :(

I'm also having this problem. IE says:

    Line: 44
    Char: 2
    Error: 'realTinyMCE' is undefined
    Code: 0
    URL: http://www.domain.com/subdomain/wp-admin/post-new.php

Is the fix listed above for this?

    http://trac.wordpress.org/changeset/5114

Or is it: "You just have to put in language pack for TinyMCE for your locale."

FWIW, the visual rich editor shows up using the "main" WPMU blog (http://www.domain.com/wp-admin/post-new.php), just not user blogs. It seems to be something related to defining where realTinyMCE is located relative to the script?

    Char: 2
    Error: 'realTinyMCE' is undefined
    Code: 0

Is the fix listed above for this? PLEASE! :)
