WordPress MU

I've searched for a few hours on how to include a post from individual blogs in a main aggregate blog. I can't seem to find anything specific, so here goes.

I'm setting this up for a weekly newspaper. The individual writers will have their own blogs and we have a main blog called the Back Channel. I would like to give the writers an option for "Also Post in The Back Channel" when they compose for their own blogs.

I'm using list_all_posts on the main page and it works fine. But I need to give the writers control over what gets posted in the Back Channel, because that gets fed live on the main site as an RSS feed.

Basically, my need is to post to multiple blogs at the same time.

Any ideas?

Was any progress ever made on this subject? I can't seem to find anything in regards to it :(

It depends on what you need exactly. The same as the OP? All posts going to the main blog? Main blog posts going to all or some of the subblogs? Those are all different.

Just FYI, it can be done, but pushing one post to, say 400 blogs, is a bit resource intensive if you're actually copying that post to each blog.

Hi, Andrea. I am trying to display the latest posts from about 10 blogs (from subdomains) to 1 main blog. Can you advise on how to do this?

Why don't you use a plugin to simply pull the latest posts from those blogs into a page on your main blog rather than cross posting.

Pray tell what plugin would do that.

If you just want to display them, I'd use a service that combines rss feeds like Yahoo pipes, combine your blogs into a single feed and display that on your blog.
