WordPress MU

I installed MU on a subdomain. No problem.

However, when a new user registers a blog, the URL they are given is:

username.blogs.site.com

and I need: username.site.com

How would I accomplish this?

Install it at the root of the domain, or you'll have to hack up several core files to accomplish it.

thanks. I searched and couldn't narrow down my problem but your suggestion sparked something for me. I installed it in a real subdomain but have the users blogs in a subdirectory.
