WordPress MU

Hi Guys,

Seem to be getting a problem thats seems to be common on these forums.

After installation the login page just keeps redirecting back to itself.

Please ask for any information required. We'd love to get this running as soon as possible. As we are planning on providing over 1000 blogs for our students, departments and staff.

thank for the response... but i don't think there was some errors.
I use a subdirectory for my blog. and after login, the adress is http://domain/subdirectory/wp-login.php?action=auth&redirect_to=%2Fsubdirectory%2Fwp-admin%2F
and there's nothing else happen.
When I try my login with an wrong password, I have an error message.
What kind of error in the db do you think it supposed to be?

And where can I see that? sorry, I'm a newbee in this stuff

For me it was a problem with the mod_rewrite being installed in apache. If you are running apache2 make sure you copy the file /etc/apache2/mods-available/rewrite.load to /etc/apache2/mods-enabled/rewrite.load and restart apache.

I run it on Windows
Apache/2.2.4 (Win32) PHP/5.2.1

And mod_rewrite is enabled...
I use already an wordpress 2.1

Can you check to see if the cookies are being set within the browser? Look for something with the domain of where you;re trying to log in.

Looks like no cookies are being set, what is required for me to do know?

Did you set the blowfish secret?

Where? I can't login into the admin panel to do any settings.

I am also on windows, with mod_rewrite working.

Hey, I had this problem two days ago. Then I downloaded the app again, reinstalled it and the problem went away. I am new to wordpress, so my advice is not that weighty. I suspect is was a bad build for a day?

I have the same problem, but only when I install it in a specific domain, http://iamzaks.com when I use a directory, it seems to work fine http://c3.iamzaks.com/blog/

I don't know what is going on, how can I check if cookies are being sent?
