WordPress MU

Hi I have some questions to ask,my website is http://www.marcio3000.net I would like to have a blog with the url http://www.marcio3000.net/blog , shall I upload the wpmu-2005-05-20 folder and change the name to blog?
And also,shall put my .htaccess in the root or in the /blog/ directory?

.htaccess goes into the blog folder. As for the folder, the easiest and non geeky explanation I can give is "just rename the folder that .htaccess is currently in."

I get this file permission problem: http://www.marcio3000.net/blog/

I have already set everything to 755 but i still get it,if you scroll the page down there is also a visualization problem with a missing part on the bottom-left,I hope it'll be fixed as I fix the previous problem

Change the owner of the directories and fiels mentioned?

How can I change the owner? They are in my webspace so they should me mine,I have access through ftp with filezilla and the only thing i can change are the file permissions

Uncomment the code that checks for permissions then. You'd have to be logged in as root to modify them anyway so don't worry too much about it.
Edit wp-inst/index.php and remove the offending lines. I might make the warning show up the first time, and then show it again every time the admin logs in. It might not seem so scary then!
