How do I make an aggregate view of multiple blogs? (5 posts)

Heyagain! Thanks for the great help here before. How do I make a scenario like this work:

    * 4 different authors have individual under WordPress MU. They've customized their own styles and such.

    * They'd ALSO like all their posts to show up on a main, aggregated "group blog". This, too, would have its own uniform style.

    * In addition, on this aggregated group blog, there'd be posts — fresh content — that doesn't appear on any of the individual authors' blogs.

I've done some earlier searches and got some helpful hints, but didn't find a comprehensive how-to on it. Finding some actual examples of this being done would help too. Can anyone please advise?

    Many thanx in advance. =^_^=

I'm pretty sure it could be done by pulling in the feeds. These plugins may help:
    CG-feedread http://www.chait.net/index.php?p=238
    feedwordpress http://projects.radgeek.com/feedwordpress

FYI - this isn't a MU-specific question, but I was having issues getting the wp,org forum search to work for me and used Google.

I use it to aggregate the three blogs I publish most, works like a charm.

    Download it, upload it.
    Activate it.
Enter the rss feed(s) in the new menu.
Watch the posts come flying in.

Oh, add your users/categories first, and the post will have the correct author and category.
The kicker is making darn sure the RSS feeds are never busted. And that is tougher than I thought.

Thanks muchly for the help! :)

@dsader: Where are your blogs? I'd like to see them and learn more (and likely admire your work in the process). And what specific problems have you run into with the RSS feeds? And which feeds got busted? That sounds quite frustrating.

@andrea_r: I ended up using Google too, looks like that's what the forum search here uses now anyway.

Only the search box at the top uses Google here. :)

The "proper" search boxes are at the bottom of each sub-forum. I bookmarked it:
