I have the nightly from 2005-10-21 installed on my site at /.
I have run through the install process successfully, but when it completes and I return to the root I am presented with the install process once again. Should it not be showing me the first blog I set up? I can only see it by going to /wp-inst/ ... is this the intended behaviour? This seems really weird to me.
Now, my quick solution to this has been to simply move everything from /wp-inst to / and delete the files that were in / before. It now shows my default www. blog when I go to and correctly gives me an error when I try to go to a subdomain blog that doesn't exist. But! Now, wp-newblog.php doesn't work at all. It doesn't output anything.
Did I just get a particularly bad nightly, or is there something else wrong?
I realize this isn't a priority at the moment, but with the number of people trying out WPMu I think an update to this site (WPmu doesn't use Smarty anymore, but the main page says it does) and to the readme.txt install instructions would be helpful.
Anyone have any tips for me?
