Someone signed up with me today with a site that has 100% repeated content? Hmm. Would should I do? Should I allow it?

First let me explain my motive for hosting mu, 1) I want to host 1 - n blogs of my own 2) I want to try to get my page rank from 5 to 6.

The second one I thought could be done if I could get more original content and if other people helped building links (ie they would build links to their own blogs).

So now I am in a condundrun. These "spammers" will presumably still build links to me and if my page rank is better than the other sites where this repeated content is hosted at maybe google will think the content orginated with me (or rather I will be seen as the most "trusted" source).

    Does anyone have any advice?

    thanks

It's really up to you on if you allow it or not. I state (somewhere) that I require original content but I don't have problem with backup blogs. If I take the first sentence out of a post, drop it into Google, and get back hundreds of hits, I'd really lean towards calling it a sblog and get rid of it.

The other reason why I would do that is that you probably don't want to get labeled as a site that supports spammers. While you're still going to get them no matter what you do, you're not going to be known as an easy target.

I did exactly what you did, ie googling, and I found only three hits. hmm. but your reasonning is sound, I think I am going to remove them.

Oops, that's "I don't have a problem with backup blogs." Sorry about that.
