The sign-in up link is missing. I change themes and it still doesn't appear. I've tried adding jpf registration plug-in as well to see if I could get the sign-up to appear. All I keep getting is a login button. I thought perhaps it was something to do with the cookies and the computer thinking I already had a blog, so I deleted the cookies. Still nothing.
Any ideas? It is getting a little urgent.

I cleaned up the first file per instructions on this forum. It still didn't work so I uploaded a fresh copy of both files and I'm still getting both errors.
The second issue is resolved - after lots and lots of searching I finally found it. It was a space at the end of the banned names.
But I still can't get a sign-up link to appear on any pages.
