WordPress MU

Any idea how to fix this error:

[Table 'wp_263_comments' is marked as crashed and last (automatic?) repair failed]
SELECT COUNT(comment_ID) FROM wp_263_comments WHERE comment_approved = 'spam'

I've tried to search Google and the forum for this error, but I am having no luck.

mysql>repair table wp_263_comments;

Worked like a charm. Now I'm feeling like an idiot for not doing that myself.

drmike: Yes, I did. After I posted that comment, I got another urgent request from a different user who wanted to move from blogpeoria.com because of the error messages, so I posted a second request, with a different headline that I thought might generate a response.
