Hi, im really sorry for posting this really newbie query here but I've been struggling for a good 24 hours to get MU installed without luck, and really can't get much support else where.

I have created a mySQL database and user on my virtual hosting account with BlueHost.com, and also got through the 1st stage of the WP MU installation process. I even recieved an email with my admin / log-in details.

When I then try to access the blog or the log-in page, I recieve this message:

It doesn't look like you've installed WP yet. Try running install.php.

    When I then try to run install.php, I recieve a 404 error.

Can anybody tell me what's wrong? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have 4 other separate single WP.org installations on sub-directories of the same virutal hosting account and they are functioning well.

    Thanks

Bluehost does not support wildcards for WPMU and using subdomains.

Also, please tell me you did NOT edit the config file. :)

Also check to see if the tables did in fact get created.
