    "<foxinni@gmail.com>"@.MISSING-HOST-NAME., UNEXPECTED_DATA_AFTER_ADDRESS@.SYNTAX-ERROR.

This is the "From" address i get when i use GuerrillaMail.com to test if my sign up works. It lands in my spam folder. What can i do to solve this?

Is there a way to jippo it. Hardcode the address it comes from? It should be somewhere in the WPMU-function.php file.

I had a similar problem. I ended up using the http://www.coffee2code.com/archives/2004/06/28/plugin-wpphpmailer/

wpPHPmailer which amoung other things allows you to designate a from: address. Since then I have not had any emails go into the spam folder.

You have to put it in the plugins folder (not mu-plugins) as its intented for regular wordpress but since the only blog that sends registration emails is the home blog then you only have to activate it for that blog.
