We have installed WPMU on our site, and it has been up and running reliably, but we have noticed a bug. When we created more than one page of posts, and we use the next link, and then the previous link, it links to the wrong url, and actually prompts to create a new blog.

I could not find another example of this. I can provide a link to the site, but I would prefer not to post it to the forums directly if possible.

I just upgraded to the new version of WPMU (1.2.3). It fixed one of the navigation errors that we were getting. Now I still have one least one problem. On the page:

    http://vangoghvodka.com/blog/events

When you try to navigate to the seconds page, you get

    http://vangoghvodka.com/blog/events/blog/events/page/2/

    instead of

    http://vangoghvodka.com/blog/events/page/2/

I saw something similar to this on the forums which said that it was fixed by installing 1.2.3, but we are still having problems.

    Any ideas?

Actually you have it incorrectly set up. WPMU appears to be setup in http://vangoghvodka.com/blog/ which would mean the first blog would reside in http://vangoghvodka.com/blog/blog/

Note the URL of one of your posts:

    http://vangoghvodka.com/blog/blog/2007/07/03/van-gogh-vodka-gogh-cones/

The links are correct as you have it installed.

What is the best way to correct this then? Is there a way to do it that will not require deleting the data that is already in there?

I changed the config.php file so that $base = '/', from blog, and everything is still working as it did, including the same problem.

Install it in the site root, and not the /blog/ directory.

Other than that, you're stuck with domin.tld/blog/ every where.

I am not against a full reinstall (this time to sub-domains), but I would like to not lose the data that I have already put in the current install. Is there a good method for keeping this data?

You could use the export function to export each blog in turn and then re-import it

I think you are ok now, but just in case someone find this problem again, just add a "/" at the end of the blog name. For example, ...domain.com/blog/whatever/
    Dont't forget the last "/".
    This works for me.
Sorry but ...."Install it in the site root, and not the /blog/ directory".... is not a valid answer for me.
    Regards!
