WordPress MU

Hellow,

I install WPMU and works fine
but I need help in other thing

I have already folder in root which name is files...

since I install WPMU I cant download any file in this folder

like
http://www.mysite.tld/files/file.zip

it becaome 404 err

so I need to fix it by change this folder name about WPMU.
I mean I want WPMU want folder wp-files not files for example..

Do you mean you want to be able to access http://yoursite.tld/files/ independently from WPMU ? Or do you want WPMU to be able to read/write to the '/files' directory ?

Could you try explaining again?

I want to change folder name from (files) to other name.
and let my old (filee) folder as it is.

I want WPMU deal with another folder.

I think its clear now from subject and this replay..

but
http://www.mywbsite.tld/support/user
dont work

and redirct me at err 404 at WPMU..

where is the problem and how to fix it??

1) Bumping when it's less than 24 hours is considered rude.

2) This particular topic, rewrite rules, has been discussed multiple time.

3) As an MU operator/admin, this should be well within your capabilities to figure out.

is this support fourm to this WPMU ...

I wonder if I make something wrong but I dont,
