WordPress MU

hi there,

i have mu installed on my domain and allow users to register and create new blogs themselves. i'd like to alter the insert statement when a user creates a new post and simultaneously publishes it. where can i find this insert statement(s). specifically the statement inserts a row into the wp_[X]_posts table. thanks in advance.

There is a publish_post action that you can hook into. Which has the postId as an argument. You could use this to update the post at the time of publishing. There may be other hooks but I've used that one before.
