I want to set up MU to work with subdomains. I'm on a shared host, and am having the following issues
    * Subdomains aren't working. I don't have access to the apache files, so I can't change the 'bind' or whatever settings it says to in the tutorial. How can I get around this to add a wild card DNS?
    * eMails aren't sending. Where would I look to fix this problem?

    1. You *can't* really get around it if you don't give u access to add wildcards. Supposedly there is a way to use .htaccess to almost accomplish the same thing...

Pretty much. You can get with your host to see if they'll make the modifications for you. If they won't, you can install mu in a subdirectory setup. That may be best.

As to the email issue, please review your email server's error logs and see what is occuring. You may also want to search these forums as it's come up many times recently.

I'll try to dig up a way to use htaccess. I can't get to the apache files at all.

Again, you may want to check with your host and see if they will make these changes for you.

They won't (yes, they do suck). I'll just use the subdirectories. With the new installation, the eMail issue seems to have cleared up as well. Thanks!
