    Could someone explain why my subdomains don't seem to work when a user creates an account/blog. It doesn't resolve (Problem loading page). Here is basically what my /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/example.com file looks like:

    <VirtualHost 127.0.0.1:80>
    ServerAlias http://www.example.com example.com *.example.com
    ServerAdmin myemail@example.com
    ServerName http://www.example.com
    DocumentRoot /home/example/
    <Directory />
    Options FollowSymLinks
    AllowOverride FileInfo Options
    </Directory>
    ErrorLog /home/access_logs/example_error_log
    CustomLog /home/access_logs/example_access_log combined
    SetEnv TZ UTC
    </VirtualHost>

    Anyone, see what exactly is wrong here?

    Hmm, that's strange actually as, since it's a third level, propagation wouldn't come into play as it's the second level that's important. ie DNS does a look up on the domain name and then uses the domain name's own nameservers to find the subdomain.

    *shrug* oh well, glad you got it working for you.
