WordPress MU

Hello. I'm wondering if the following tool already exists for MU?

The ability for someone to return to a community blog and see the more link or something visually defining the grouping of recent posts that are new since the last time they visited the community blog.

Does such exist?

I just use the wpmufeed plugin and display it with a fetch_rss like is currently done in the dashboard.
