WordPress MU

there seems to be a problem in the latest version of MU

if someone registers an account to create a blog using a capital letter first it's impossible to log into, as it just keeps saying incorrect password.

I've tested this a few times, and this doesn't apply to accounts that have usernames all in lowercase, which seems to suggest there is a strtolower error occurring somewhere
