WordPress MU

Hello-

Please forgive me if this is a basic question with a simple answer, but I am new to Wordpress and my research has not yielded an answer.

I would like to set-up a Wordpress MU instance in which each user has his or her own blog, but individual entries are rolled up to the main page. For example, the 10 most recent entries from any blog would be displayed on the main page.

Is this existing functionality or is there a plug-in for this?
