WordPress MU

Hi,

I am running the latest version of Wordpress MU and I have a problem when the users creates a blog:

For example when they use a CAPITAL letter within their user name they are unable to log in, it always returns an incorrect password. If I edit the wp_users table user_login and make the capital a lower case then no issues all goes well?

surely this is not supposed to happen....

in other words help...

Looks like if they click the login on the activation link it works automatically, but subsequent logins do not!

It's a bug that got fixed. If you do a search, you'll find more threads on the issue, and the file it affected, if you just wanted to upgrade that file.

May want to double check your "latest version" while you're at it as I believe that's been fixed for quite sometime now.

I wish the download page would get updated soon.

Updated to what? A Release Candidate? Wow. Can you imagine all the threads there would be?

Not to mention all the threads that say the same thing. <roll eyes>

I'd rather see the time taken on this version so it gets it right. Especially with all the changes being made overall. Thus far that appears to be the approach, and to me it seems like the best way to roll.

*sigh* No, a version without so many bugs. :) I want to see time taken on getting it right, too - but maybe there could be a note with known issues somewhere until it gets updated.

But there are notes about the known issues. Right here in the forums. Heck, there's got to be what, 15, 20 different threads about each one?

Apologies all real work took me away for a while - thanks - yes I should search and read the forum more for such errors and thanks for the link to down load 1.3 (I was using 1.2.5a)

I now see the actual Download link uses 1.3 :)

It was just released & updated an hour or two ago.
